Need Help Running GBA ROM 2377: Mother 3 (J)

Hi, Just having some trouble running Mother 3, you know, the game Lucas comes from? Anyway, I've patched the game with the fan translation patch, and when I get up to the part of the game where you first get a map, the game glitches and seems to think I don't have a map. i.e. every time I try to leave town it says: 'You don't have a map!' Even though I do, and when I go back to Mapson, it's like he never gave me a map, even though I already have one. Anybody have any ideas? Like a patch, or a fix, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

 

What are you using to play the game?

It has worked fine for me so far on VBA 1.7.2 and 1.8 beta

 

I'm Using VBA 1.7.2, but it glitches at that point. I got the ROM from this site, too.

Aahhh, never mind. It was probably an old version or a glitch with the cheats. Thanks for your help.
