i had bought a 2 usb gamepad and i use one for playing tekken

but my problem is my girlfriend also wants to play 2 player mode

so in my experience when i plug the 1st usb gamepad the psx emulator recognizes it but the other usb gamepad is not recognize.

so i thought maybe the 2nd usb gamepad is broken

so i try reversing the method and put 2nd usb gamepad first and it was recognize while the other usb gamepad is not

Does your computer recognize each seperate controller? Sometimes USB drivers get automatically installed, and start overlapping each other.

Right click on your "My Computer" Icon. Choose Properties.
    Click on the "Hardware" tab.
    Open the "Device Manager".
Open the "Human Interface Devices" branch.

When you plug in one controller, watch what it registers it as.
When you plug in the second controller, watch what it registers it as.

It should add two seperate devices to the list.

Now, Open ePSXe, I'm currently using v1.7.0. You must do this after both controllers are plugged in and are running and installed.
Open up the Config menu, and go to Gamepads.
There will be Port 1 and Port 2, these are the emulated ports on your PSX system.

Even though they are two seperate ports, both Port 1 and Port 2 will only show "Pad 1". This is because each port is capable of setting up 4 pads on them, giving you 8 players total. The PS1 used a multitap block to do this.

Choose Port 1, Pad 1, and configure your buttons by clicking in the box with your mouse, then pressing the corresponding button on controller #1. It should come up as "J1_B#" where # is the button number of your controller that you used (1-12 or so depending on how many buttons you have).

Choose Port 2, Pad 1, and do the same. It should come up as J2_B#. This tells you that it is on Joypad #2, as opposed to #1.

Hopefully this helps. The only problems I could think of is either the computer is not recognizing #2, or when you saw "Pad 1" in both ports it confused you.

config the joypad first....if the problem is not with your usb gamepad driver!
sometimes if u eject it...and then insert it...the config will reset!
