if you only want to turn it off, why not just disconnect it?

or use the task manager (ctrl+alt+supr)

    who told you that?

not true. When you disconnect your computer is lost with the information you're working at that time

according to me. that's just as bad to restart your computer with the fast reset button

I gave you the easiest solution the rest depends on you.
if you can not shut down or restart your computer, even by force, then remove their Deputy Minister of Energy

I ognored the rest of the post just to tell you this.

Just use the un-install function in your control panel on your pc.

And use the shut down option...or if that fails...just do a full power off.

I haven't lost anything after 15 shut downs in a row...comp kept freezing that day :(
