hi! im having trouble remembering the name of the (psx) game i used to play back then, i checked it in google but to no avail. please help me. I think the title has the word "eye' in it. The game story revolves around a special kind of people with the power to turn lifeless puppets into monsters via GEMS. The battle system is like final fantasy tactics - like playing chess.
If you go to http://www.gamefaqs.com/ and browse the PSX titles, look for a game with eye, search etc.
Yeah that game's pretty awesome, but a lot of people either doesn't know it existed or didn't think it was good. It's concept was especially unique, a Pokemon-ish game, but uses the Tactics game system, great combination! And if you look at them closely, some of the Mappemon (Magical Puppet Monsters) even look like they were Pokemon rip offs. ;D I suggest you also play "Monster Seed", also by Sunsoft, the gameplay & Concept are similar ;D
