I downloaded the firmware because i can see from other threads, thats what everyones advice is. But when i saw all the componments to it and how many files there are I got really scared. I know how to put it on the mini sd buit where on the mini sd? and do i have to delete all the other system folders there for the new ones to work? Im so confused.

just copy it to the root of the miniSD, if it asks you to overwrite files, say yes.

Off topic: I sort of got scared like that when I was cementing my potato cannon.

"Oh my gosh what if I miss? What if I don't spread the cement evenly? What if I cement my face to the pipe?!"

Nervousness. But yeah, just copy the files to the root of the drive, not moving anything anywhere. Overwrite the old files, they are the previous firmware version.

Err guys... M3 Simply uses MicroSDs for storage... They're just like R4 in many ways... And do what Born2Killx said but you may want to back up all your files just in case.

But you're not really overwriting anything but the old firmware files, so even if it fails, you can just copy it on again and it should work. You're not overwriting any ROMs or save files or anything.

Yeah I said "just in case" but to be honest, I don't back up my files when updating my R4 and there's no problems but some people say that they lose their files when updating and do it if you're scared of losing stuff and yada yada.

If you really want a remote assistant use TeamViewer, it's practical to use and very good (works with xp and vista maybe other OS's too)

When I do remote assisstance. I usually use MSN. hahaha
I was just about to do...then i figured out. I'm officially too afraid to do it on my own and if I do want it done. Someone else needs to me responsible.
Also what is the root of the mini SD??

the root is what you see after opening the drive in my computer, before you go into any folders.
