Need Help - Buying a new DS

A few months ago my DS Lite broke down......to the point of no return. So I'm thinking of buying a new one but I'm not sure which one though.
Here are my options:
>NDS Lite
>3DS
>DSi
For your info, I already have an R4(which would make re-buying the DS lite a good idea, but I still need your opinions)

 

Get an Acekard and and a DSi

Or if you get wet over the idea of 3D games, go for the 3DS.

 

I did a little research and felt that the 3DS is a fail. So I think I should just go for DSi or DS Lite. And by the way does AceKard have good compatibility as WOOD R4?

3ds is the way to go if your a graphics nut but if you want region free gaming go for a ds lite
