Need Help About ePSXe... How will it work faster?

Please help me, because I tried hard to install the program coz i was so desperate to play PS games in my laptop. Yes, I manage to install it... the problem however is that it is somewhat SLOWer than playing in PS... Can you guys give me tips how to make it faster ASIDE FROM CHANGING THE CONFIG considering the fact that my laptop is like the older version (that might be a factor)...

There is no way to make it work faster other than changing the configuration, so if you want to make it work faster without doing that, you are out of luck.


Start by using Pete's graphics plugins.
General Rules of thumb:
OpenGL if you have an Nvidia graphics card
D3D if you have a non-Nvidia graphics card

In the graphics configuration, start by choose the "Fast" default settings. This gives you a good start at low-system spec ePSXe running.

Reduce your resolution, lower res is generally easier on your system.
