Bored outta my mind now that I can't play WoW. Specs: Intel Core 2 DUO [email protected] 6GB DDR2 RAM Intel GMA 4500 (Ya FML...)(Supports OpenGL 2.1 I believe) Windows 7 Ultimate. Now then...What is fun that I can run?.. I've played BoF4(Breath of fire 4), Getting Halo 1, and have played a few other RPG's.. Need something that'll run fast, and is fun...And non-online to. RPG's, Shooters in the same style as Halo, And nothing to do with mysteries/Puzzle games (Mahjong[or however you spell it] for example I will not play...)
Yes, mine does...I have installed OpenGL viewer and checked it myself...Image: I can even run the rendering tests at around 45 FPS...They use ONLY OpenGL... EDIT: More specific image: Now can someone recommend some games?
Because it WILL NOT render. That programs I took images from PROVES that it does....If I can run it's OpenGL renders perfectly, then how can OpenGL not be there?... EDIT: Forgot to mention, When I tell runescape to use OpenGL rendering, some features are missing because it requires 3.2 I believe, yet it runs! So I have SOME kind of OpenGL support... And wow...lotsa posts, but none on topic....
WoW does run on intel integrated. Not well, but it runs. Its partial support. Sufficient to be able to claim its supported but not good enough to actually be any practical use.
Video doesn't even render for me. It's partial enough that Halo told me I can't run it yet I can >.< Recommendations please?
halo uses directx not opengl. I suppose if you can run halo you might be able to run doom 3/quake 4. Of the two, quake 4 is closer to halo. They're both sci-fi shooters but doom 3 has quite a large horror/survival element to it as well
Again, if my piece of shit Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset Family can play WoW, yours can too since yours is YEARS newer. You have got to be doing something seriously wrong for it to not render... Here's your chipset. Here are the games that can run on it. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intelgm45/sb/CS-029450.htm Here's the POS Express Chipset that I had: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intel945gm/sb/cs-021400.htm WoW isn't even listed, and it ran just fine. I'm gonna laugh my ass off if you just spent $600 on a new laptop when this one can run it just fine.
its the cpu that matters most in this case, because the intel chip is a POS most of the graphics work is done by the driver, i.e the CPU.
Try Delta Froce Land Warrior and CnC Renegade. Oh, and Star Wars Battlefront I and II For RPG's, Diablo 2. If you like RTS try Battlezone 2 Combat Commander (Its a FPS/RTS hybrid. I wish that this game type would be used more often, its really epic.)
I'll try again...But this Piece of shit can't, I swear it...LOWEST EVERYTHING...It fails to render...Will edit with results... EDIT: It plays, but just fucking barely... 3 FPS in Thunderbluff, on lowest settings...Enter org, and it drops to -20 FPS.
Cave Story Diablo Diablo 2 Warcraft Warcraft II Warcraft III Aquaria Audiosurf Myst Riven Myst III Myst IV Myst V Uru Any Touhou game Plants vs Zombies Peggle Peggle Nights Bejeweled Bejeweled 2 Bejeweled 3 Any game in the Chzo Mythos Minecraft Rollercoaster Tycoon Various emulators
BTW< the adapters RAM of 2GB is actually your PCs RAM. Wait, my mom's laptop has the same specs and I can play WoW and Black Ops... Anyways, you can play Cross Fire easily a 100+ fps.
I'm concluding that you are doing something terribly, terribly wrong. What that is, I have no idea...
If you mean what happened to it, I've figured out the SLI causes instability, which I have since disabled it, am using it, and have let this topic die....
So you figured it out? I don't remember what SLI really is, but I remember my interface blabbing on about it and how if you have multi-processors, it's better and blah blah blah. Mine's a single core so I ignored it... That was a really weird cause to your problem...
