Is anyone obsessed with this game like i was/am? I've played it since i was 6 years old. Great times i have had competing with my brother on it. One thing that irks me; i cant beat his alleged record lap time on Outback of 1:17. Not that i have tried too hard. I must have the wrong cornering technique. He probably just lied to me and said he got that time when he didn't. Sounds like something he would do.
...Who's time? I have yet to play this one, but if cars can be modded/use over powered cars then do that. ...I'm sure 1 and 2 of these would have been better than newer gen ones, shift/undercover suck badly. All from underground, they sucked.
Its from 1997. You just have a bunch of stock cars. McLaren F1 was the best. Like it is in all the old NFS games. BTW have you played NFS hot pursuit 2 it is the best nfs by far?
if you're talking about NFSII SE then no the mclaren F1 isnt the best. theres an unlockable car thats better.
oh yeah the ford. the red one. but its only better for cornery tracks isnt. the mclaren will still pwn it on outback.
ok, i only had it for playstation. its not the special edition. so that car that ur driving must only be in that one. i havent even thought of illegally downloading the special version for computer. maybe ill do that some time. on the ps1 version you could unlock only the ford indigo. never seen that FZR thing. i might post some screenshots when i get back my ps1 controllers
I bought this game years ago. Sadly its a bit annoying to get running on a modern computer and when you do it just about works (sound is fucked though). Was awesome fun in its day. The ford indigo isn't an unlockable car in SE, its a available from the start, and its not very good.
i still havent got the controller off my mate. i play it using an emulator. it massively improves the graphics. maybe you could get the ps1 version and use it on the emulator
