Need answer on 3DS, preferably fast.

    Just bought a 3DS XL and it is on v4.4.0-10. My card can not update to v4.5.0-10 yet. :'(

    So I've only owned a DSi before, unlike the DSi will the 3DS update automatically when I try to go online?

    Or am I good to play Pokemon Black 2 online?

    It depends whether it asks to update before you launch the game. If it doesnt, you should be ok. The 3ds will download the update but will not install it until you agree to it. It will keep asking you if you want to update but just say no. If you say yes by mistake it will update the console. Hope this helps, Lisa

    I'd patch your card in case you accidently update the card though.
    Just follow the patching tutorial under the 'Patching' part of the tutorial linked below. The first one, not the second.
