btw, many may say that i should use nero, yes i do have nero but a nero 6 [i got it from the portable dvd rw that my sister gave me] and i think nero 6 can't burn pask iso or images

i want to thank those people who had help me on my thread, where i discuss that my pc went sick... i took the advices and i had found out that my round port for the keyboard is still functioning [i just twist twist the wire of the keyboard] and i get to the setup and take some of the advices on the thread. It's quite easy to burn PSOne and PS2 discs.Just make sure you unpacked all the necessary files and just burn it.
Not too sure about the software but it sounds good.Probably gonna try it sooner or later.

you need to install a firmware on the memor32, but apart from that, yes.

can alcohol burn the iso or img file or bin/cue file made by nero
or if an iso or img file or bin/cue file is made by alcohol
can nero burn the iso or img file or bin/cue file made by alcohol

yah disk images are the are the same no matter what you rip them with, unless its a spacial image file that only that software has (like say for example if there was "a nero image file" alcohol could not burn it since it would not recognize it as a disk image,(i dont know if there really is a nero image file type or not i just said that as an example)) but if its a regular disk image file (img, iso, cue, bin) you can burn it with any disk burning software

Burning programs do not lock their images so it can only be used by itself. Nero's own image format is .nrg, which I've only encountered once. In this case still, programs like Alcohol 120% do have support for .nrg etc. I can't say the same thing for Alcohol image formats (mdf, mds) though, since I haven't used Nero for a long time.

A little off topic, and I am sorry for that, but did not want to start a separate thread for this. What is a good alternative to Nero? I am looking for a different burning software as I am tired of Nero always crashing or not running properly. I do use an older version of it (version 7) but for some reason it sometimes never starts (even though it's called startsmart..fancy that). Anyways I never really liked Nero but need a good alternative for burning DVD's, data files, audio cd's etc. Any suggestions?

You also can buy a external hard drive for the PS2 and a special DVD for it. That's an option if you don't want to chip it.
May cost a bit more, but it's cheaper then buying PS2 games.
