Need $700 CDN Laptop

    Hi, my friend wants a 700 dollar (Canadian) laptop and he has no idea what to get. I suggested Asus, HP and hell no to Dell, Acer, eMachines. It has to be a laptop btw :p

    It must have:
    a Intel Dual-Core processor (i3, i5)
    A dedicated graphics card
    large hard drive 320gb+
    Must have a good, not crappy, not glossy keyboard, not glossy finish

    main use:
    internet, some movies and games, etc.

    reason for laptop: portability and he is pissed over the crappy PCs at the school.

    Don't Acers usually get heating issues though?

    Anyway why a Canadian Laptop?

    Mine did, running it without the hard disk cover and using a cooling pad worked though.

    Because he's canadian?
