I currently own a NDS Lite, and I play it with an R4 card. So I bought a secondhand NDSi today, and I realised that the R4 card doesn't work on it. I looked around the forum and it said something about an R4i or Acekard 2i, I'm thinking about getting either one of them, BUT I also came across something about Firmware 1.4 (or something) that makes the R4i/A2i useless? So has the Firmware been updated (cos the posts I read dated back in March..)? And if not, is there another way (besides switching back to NDS Lite :-X) I can play my old games on the DSi? :-\ Thanks Guys :-*!
If your DSi has firmware 1.4 then no, you cant use flashcarts anymore.... But Ive heard rumors of it being cracked already but sofar its just rumors http://kotaku.com/5331198/has-latest-dsi-firmware-already-been-cracked
my brothers got the dsi and and has newest software (updated last week) bought an r4i and it worked fine. hope that helps
