Today I thought I try the wood dumper (slot 2 version) with my acekard and ezy 3 in one combo (worked with the older nds dumper I normally use) and...it didn't show much signs of working.

I inserted a card like it said, I pressed a, the game info was show and then it said "secure area" and then...nothing happened.

No junk data left on the sd card.

Is the slot 2 version for actual slot 2 cards like the old gba/pass me cards or did I do something wrong?

I haven't tried the other version which I assume is the wifi one, and I'm not re-configuring my router JUST to copy ds games.

I don't know man, I could never get it to work either. I tried both the WiFi version and the slot2 version. To tell the truth, I got closer to making the WiFi version work before I just gave up on them. It would be nice if when these people put out such useful files that they would create a help file to go with it that would explain what needs to be done to make it work.

I guess that's asking too much though.

While your post doesn't help...you did offer me some insight to the issue.

Dang, SEPH-or anyone for that matter...if you know exactly how this works let me know asap.

(FYI seph advised I replaced the nds dumper I uploaded and swap with this-but right now I'm using the nds dumper because I got no clue on the wood dumper :( )

I've only used the WIFI version, and have it working, so I don't know how to get the slot2 one working, I couldn't do it either.

To get the wifi version working, you need to forward port 8080 to the DS. Now AFAIK you cannot set up a static IP for a DS, so I have to ensure the DS is the first thing to connect wirelessly, so it gets local IP 192.168.0.199. (Which is the same IP to forward port 8080 to)

With that set up, then open a command prompt and enter "cd C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop" This is for Win7, and makes sure the rom is dumped to the desktop.

Now, after that is done, enter "ftp 192.168.0.199:8080" (Or whatever your DS IP address is)
It will ask for a user/pass. These dont matter.

Once connected just enter "get GAMENAME.nds"

Then it will start copying. It will take a long time, so go watch a movie or two. :)

Note that while this is copying your wireless network will slow to a crawl (at least on mine), so anything you need to do will need to be wired.

As stated in my first post I'm not re-configuring my router to do this (it's on wpa right now, and a few other things).

There is a complete new version of WoodDumper WiFi. I have put in the NDS section
