NDS - White Screen of Death?

Hey guys, I try to turn on my DS (and as usual, it takes me a lot of times to slide the power button up and down to get it on) and once it gets working, the Nintendo DS sign shows up and plays the sound, but then it just goes to a blank white screen and doesn't work. Is this what they call the White Screen of Death? is there any easy way of fixing it? Thanks.

 

Don't you use the N5 flashcart?

 

are you using a flashcart when this happens? if it is a flashcart, maybe it is because it is corrupted or not doing contact with the ds well. also blow in the contacts to clean

 

Yeah I use the N5. It happens even when my flashcard is out of the DS though...

 

I believe the N5 has been known to screw up your ds.

if its that then there goes your ds aswell

EDIT: try reseting your DS (take out the battery and put it back on)

 

I kept blowing into it and got it to load up, however I'm pretty sure I'll need a new DS and FLASHCARD soon cause this won't last long...

 

try hitting your DS against a wall or drop it on the floor.

I tried this method with my phone but with a little more oomph. Need a new phone...

 

Tried it but epic fail, It rarely turns on still
