I've downloaded a few Nintendo DS games to put on a M3 DS REAL adapter. The games have worked fine. But two of my store bought games have been acting up lately (example: screen doesn't advance, stalls and repeats itself). Is this coincidence, or could the .nds files I downloaded corrupt my DS or the 'official' store bought cartridges? I did run an antivirus scan on the files and found nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What store is this you purchased from? I've had fake games before. If you post pics of fronts and backs of the carts I can tell you now if they are legit carts.
i have downloaded many games before but anyone lacks the rom its maybe corrupted or simply it haves anti-piracy security like kingdom hearts the screen doesnt advance me once or twice in a game because the rom get corrupted what i did? i simply copy and paste the rom again and woala but in your case i dont know wath to do i hope its not your firmware of you M3 seeya
I don't think that it is the downloads as i have downloaded lots of stuff from romulation, and used lots of shop bought games and they all work fine
OK, I was misinformed by my daughter. The games not working properly are: (1) Pokemon, Mystery Dungeon- Explorers Of Sky. Store bought, an offical cartridge. (2) Pokemon, Mystery Dungeon- Explorers Of Darkness. Downloaded at romulation.net and transfered to a M3 DS Real bought from realhotstuff.com. links to cartridge photos are below: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j117/jgsgtr/NDS/front.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j117/jgsgtr/NDS/back-1.jpg So now I'm curious if Explorers Of Sky can be a fake? How can I trouble shoot, investigate, and correct if the rom is corrupt or the M3 firmware is corrupt? Or if there is an anti-piracy security? Thank you for all your help and I apologize for my first post being misinformed.
It's not fake. The current NDS "viruses" (trojans) only brick your DS/DSL (doesn't brick dsi yay). And they should either show some hentai or a brick wall once you boot the trojan.
I don't know what to tell you. Realhotstuff.com does not sell those games. I can't tell if they're legit. Although I took a look at the storefront, it seems quite unreliable as a marketplace. Maybe your rom image was a bad dump.
