Playing over the whole Summon Night Series for the GBA (Yes, even the Japanese one even though I have no idea what's happening) I was really excited to play Summon Night Twin Age, for two reasons, 1st is that it's Summon Night and the 2nd is that the artist is the one who drew for Sting's Dept. Heaven Series (e.g. Riviera: The Promised Land). I'm happy to say that it's as good as it's predecessors.

Story- It starts in Clardona, where "demi-beasts" such as Kascuza exists and if you played the old Summon Night Games, there's what they call "Summon Beasts" that came from another world summoned by a summoner. The main characters, Reiha, a human, and Aldo, a summon beast, both grew up treating each other as siblings, were supposed to undergo an age ceremony when the spirits became crazy. It's up to the player to discover what's happening and what lies in Reiha and Aldo's past.

    Gameplay-

You can move around the map with the directional keys or with your stylus pen. You also move and make the character attack with the pen. You also learn skills using points and it's like your typical, straightforward, dungeon crawler without puzzles and instead, you'll be flooded with spawns of enemies as the game progress. You can also customize your weapons to make the character attack twice/thrice or even increase the rank of the skills you have. Another thing is that there are simple quests in here and the original forge weapon in case the original shop price is too expensive.

You can also summon monsters to aid you in battle as well as the fact that you can't control the characters aside from the one you chose and your partner. You can have up to 3 characters to control. There are some AI problems floating about but nothing major. But overall, the game is really easy to control.

    Pros:

-Beautiful Artwork and Animated CG & Graphics
    -User Friendly
-New Game+ or known as EX save
-Multiple Endings depending which character you chose
    -Quests

    Cons:

-Repetitiveness can cause the player to be bored.
-Long Cutscenes might bore some players
-Spawns of enemies that could actually make you grind levels

    Presentation, 8/10:
It is presented really well and really nice to look at. The battles are easy to control and the way the story moves on is really nice.

    Graphics, 9/10:
The graphics is a love and hate situation sprite wise. It is different from the usual GBA ones, it took me a while to get used at looking at them because of their tiny feet. But the animations are really nice. Specially the drawings.

    Sound, 8/10:
Simple and effective. I did get tired after my second playthrough. The voice acting is really nice.

    Gameplay, 8/10:

Explained Above, but it gets tiring after a while. This is like Legend of Zelda without puzzles and jumping and whatnot.

    Lasting Appeal, 7/10:
The replay value of the game is who to control and who you would like to be with in the ending. But other than that it gets tiring gameplay wise.

    Total Score: 40/50

Well , it's an awesome review for a newbie involving it's own style, though the review could have been detailed but I like the stars.

I kinda wanted to go more in depth, but that would be spolerific (although it is considered since it is a review.) I'll make a detailed one next time :D

    Re: [NDS]Summon Night: Twin Age

Well so far, I played Harvest Moon, FFTA2, Luminous Arc, FMA, Animal Crossing, Trauma Center, trying to make rondo of swords work.

I'm planning to play Etrian Odyssey, Castlevania, Phoenix Wright, Higurashi Kizuna, and...Pokemon. But yeah time limit, I might do more reviews on December, as of now I'm busy with some stuff :'(

But if there's one thing I'll really be playing it'll be Knights in The Nightmare :D

If you guys have any NDS game recommendations please suggest me some in PM or something :D

I'm glad you guys liked my review!

reserve a good month alone to play etrian odyssey.
    long, but awesome.

I found that the Pros and Cons style review works the best since that is what most people like to read.
