NDS ROMS Multiplayer R4

Hi, i am having problems playing single card download games. On certain ROMS, i am unable to play multiplayer games.

I manage to connect with other players but when the download starts the signal seems to drop out and goes back to the main menu. ???

I am using an R4DS and as yet havent managed to succesfully install moonshell so dont know if this could be a cause of the error.

Any help greatly appreciated

Flashing your DS may improve download play capability!

 

you probably have it with all your nintendo games dont you?(mario kart... etc)
its a common problem and i still cant find an answer for that
but just to be sure can you multyplay with other roms?

 

For example - Using the original game to play '42 ALL TIME CLASSICS', i can play single card download games without problem. However when i try to run it from my ds using the ROM of the game, it crashes halfway through download to the secondary DS.

 

yep i have the exact same thing and i cannot figure it out what it is
and i dont know if this problem is on any other cards?

 

Yes this is a flashcart issue of the R4DS here is a compatability list of download play games, also moonshell comes with the firmware that r4ds provides just drag all the files and overwrite and you will have moonshell its the second option.

From what i've seen on the list, DLP compatibility is pretty darn good. What the hell is Nintendo doing to their games to make them so redundantly un-compliant.

 

Ah. Never knew there was any issues like that. Nevermind hopefully one day they will all work ok.

this is happining with me to, mainly on things like mario kart, super mario bros and mario 3 on 3, pretty much only mario games 4 me, lyk bomberman and starfox work single card tho...im using an r4 to and ive got my moonshell working

 

I find the same. There are very few games I have managed to get working. I am using R4 with latest version of moonshell

 

Hi everyone!
TBH, i have the same problem but with more games than those above. But then again I have a DS-Firelink card.
I have searched all around for this kind of issues and most people say to update the firmware version but when you have the latest one I don't know what else i can do.
Does anyone know a compatibility list like above for the DS-Firelink card?
Would be much appreciated.

 

I use an R4 with a fast micro SD and i've never had this problem, and every time i go round my cousins house I play single card with him....
