[NDS] How I got N5 and Wood R4 to work (Pokemon Black White, too)

    It took me a while to figure this out, so here is my finding ~ giving back to the community. I know all the 'fatal' issues related to N5 so please spare me the lecture. Here is my find anyways for those of you who wants to know. I am running on a 2GB SD Card and will not comment on any other sizes...

    First, download the latest N5 firmware (1.3.1): http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl.php/N5_v1.31_English.rar

    Second, download the N5-YSMenu with R4YSauto 0.0.2 (precompiled), and copy to your SD card:

    Third, I found this page - completes the missing puzzle, download the fix (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7GNFPEW5) and copy everything to your SD card. Reference: http://gbatemp.net/t255513-wood-for-r4sdhc-clone-only-not-r4-original

    Fourth, do this step... Turn on DS, it should auto-load YSMENU, (refer to the link above for picture by picture instructions) then run WAIO.NDS, then run woodr4dldi.nds, then configure the pokemon black/white settings (highlight the game, Press Y button two times, Select a save type = unknown/auto, Cheat in Game (AR) = off, Reset in Game = off)

    N5 and Pokemon B/W should work now. Note that I didn't play/beat the game ~ just tried about 30-min worth of gameplay, with many saving/loading ~ so I can't guarantee 100% perfection, but I'd appreciate any feedback. Before I had issues with loading/saves so this is definitely a major step forward.

    I'd still use YSMenu for other games if possible, (why fix what's not broken)...

    well... if i had an N5 card i would test it but from this, it seems to be very stable, hell i even looked at the setup and thought that should resolve alot of issues

    well... i found the Waio.nds... but then i cant run the woodr4dldi.nds... i only can choose a map, a sd card and a slot 2... and if i choose the SD i get 4 empty maps... if i choose slot 2 i get a white bar in the middle of the screen and if i choose the map i get inside the map and there is nothing...

    i found it.... but there is still one thing.... i can run waio and woodr4dldi and i can change the settings of the game but when i start the game the screen just stays white.... so where can i download the right version of the game?...

    WEll try using the latest ysmenu, just seek the topic, download it and install it on your N5, it works wonders.

    i haven't tried pokemon yet, but it has gotten everything i've tried to work(including Naruto vs Sasuke)
