Hi guys, I just downloaded No$gba and it talks about backup memory and all this stuff. I am used to SNES Roms which just use save states so this stuff is new to me. PLease help me with some basic NDS Emulation... what does EEPROM Flash drive and all of that mean?

EEPROM, FLASH, etc. are just save types, some games use EEPROM, some FLASH etc. To find out which one to use, Google "[game name] save type" You're bound to find a website that says it, http://www.romsite.net/ usually did for me. Set it to the one it says and it MIGHT ACTUALLY SAVE. (Yes, saving is actually a big thing :D )

Only problem is that like PKMN D/P need 2mbit EEPROM, and No$ only goes up to 512kbit. It might work, but I'm not wasting 10 minutes to check. :p

hi, i just joined today (Jul. 24) so plz bear with me if i say something obvious... I have no problem running Pokemon Diamond/Pearl on No$GBA. I do have problems running Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (WinE) which i downloaded from romulation's downloads page. I get the message that the data cannot be read, but this comes after i get the option to choose a language. My settings for the emulator are these:

    Emulation Speed: 16.78 MHz Realtime
Sound Output: Digital Stereo, Sound Rate 44 kHz
NDS Cartridge Backup Media: FLASH 256 KB

What am i doing wrong (as it happens, is it safe to assume that all Rom's posted have actually worked before?)

No, it's far from certain that every game work, in fact, it's pretty safe to assume that most games won't work. We have the games because you can put them on your real NDS in which case it will most likely work.
