NDS Downloader Conversion

I've read the tutorials, searched the forums, read the mainpage... and since i have yet to find anything conclusive, i feel it necessary to post, so here goes... what exactly does the convert function do after i download a .rar file using the download manager? Thanks in advance.

Either we misunderstand you when you say "convert function", or your searching skills need a bit of honing.

 

You're misunderstanding what I'm saying. In the download manager provided for premium users, in the user interface there's a "Convert" button. It's the same window you select your roms to download. My question is, what does this function do, because the end product gives me another .rar file. I'm readily aware how to extract the files, just curious what the NDS downloader is doing when I select "Convert".
