one ap is freezeing during the fight with rupert maybe just after when todd fights according to my brother who was playing acekard 2i with akaio 1.8.8

The AP on mine is whenever you buy Filter 1(same thing happens with Filter 2), it does the opposite of filtering out Normal Rocks, it just makes that the only thing you dig up. Ive tried buying all other upgrades, nothing bad happens with them.

I've heard people saying all the rocks they dig up are normal rocks and they can't get any fossils.

What flashcarts are people with the issues using? People need to list that as well.

So far avoiding purchasing Filters 1 and 2 is the only way to go...but getting Normal Rocks here and there is a bit annoying(getting nothing but Normal Rocks is worse though)

Edit: Yeah, game freezes right after the battle between Rupert and Todd.

Same here, freeze after the Todd vs Rupert fight on AK2 AKAIO 1.8.8. But it doesn't freeze on SCDS2.
The no-fossil thing isn't happening to me (maybe because I don't have those filters, will get them now tho and edit if anything's wrong)

€dit: well, on SCDS2 the no-fossil thing doesn't happen (cheated myself some money just for that), it does on AK2 tho. So I guess SCDS2 doesn't have any AP problem.

another AP is the Fossil Fighter's lv does not go up, like in pokemon black and white, you earn no exp.

me to I also got the freeze after the Todd vs Rupert fight on AK2 AKAIO 1.8.8.
al the other ap that`s beign reportet didn`t happen to me beside this.

can i just ask how do you use the ap patch thats been posted i've used mainly akaio patches or easy use

Its a hex edit patch for the ROM, you use a hex-editor like HxD are any

Goto offset 00004500 just scrool down to this number and copy and paste the data over the original - do same for over offset and patch, then save ROM, I would recomend using a copy of the rom and not original.

I'm trying to play this game at the moment and see where the issue is at.

I did not make a patcher, because the fix was in working progress.

How far into the game is this freeze ?, and can anyone give me a save nr it - upload it at any filehost like mediafire, So i can download and test the AP fix to see if freeze is fixed are not.

EDIT: If works then i will make a proper patcher.
