I am trying to patch namco x capcom (and i will upload if it is a success) with transgen's english patch, but I have some problems: The patch says i need to use something like ppf-o-matic to patch the game since it is a ppf file patch, but every ppf-o-matic program i download, when i try to run it my ad-aware blocks it saying it is a win32.backdoor.asylum. Is there another ppf patcher program that I can use? or is ad-aware just crazy since i did download from several different sites and they all respond to ad-aware as win32.backdoor.asylum. Also, in the instructions it says to use it on an iso of the game. But the only version I could get was an mds and mdf of the game. Will this patch work on the mds or mdf?
