I've just finished downloading Pokemon Stadium for N64. I use Project 64 Emulator.
whenever I load the rom (there are several of them, all have the same problem) the scene of Pokemon starts (Pokemon are standing and cheering)
after about 1-2 seconds after the scene begins, the screen goes black and nothing works anymore.

That's not the end yet, when I press START to skip the scene, the game loads fine, but I can't use any buttons beside A and B.

what seems to be the problem? and how can I solve it? (I don't want to redownload because my download speed SUCKS and it's about 60MB)

    Thanks in advance, Dor.

check your configuration, if that doesn't work try a different emulator (1964 is a good one)

    well,
I tried 1964, it works, but when I enter battles or such, the texture and the background become messed.

That's Pokemon stadium for you, it was never really emulated properly and development on N64 emulators are near non-existant, it's estimated as working "enough". Besides stadium really isn't that great a game, you really can't lose, there's no challange involved. :)

    I guess you're right.
add to that, since you can't emulate a GBA cartridge you can't get any Pokemon (just rent).
