I don't really know what to call it, I want to say emulator but I don't think that's the case.

Is there somthing like a N64 game cart that can read an sd card or something? Somthing that will read N64 and Z64 files, and will play threw the n64 system? I was thinking like the R4 cards for the DS.

I haven't seen one around, and thought that that would be really cool to play games the way they were ment to be played.

p.s. I didn't know where to post this so I figured this would be the place?

or you could get a usb N64 control adapter and hook your PC/laptop up to your t.v.

I don't know of such devices...however random google searches and youtube clips have shown me someone went into the trouble of making a portable n64, yup ram in the cart and you can play on the go...thing is, it's heavy and possible expensive.

They made portable NES/master system's (yup-one that plays both with a flick of a switch) so why not an n64?

Have a look on youtube..but you won't find this thing on ebay...have to find the guy who made it..not even sure if he was mass producing them :(

    Anything avalible today?

EDIT: And I already have a portible NES/Master System, my PSP does the job fine :). But the only N64 emulator has a few problems and there's a lack of buttons so it makes things wierd.

I remember doing a search last year on flash carts for retro systems.

It was the closest thing I found that works on n64. $280.00 and also discontinued for some years now.

But FEAR Not! as I also found another that has yet to release and could be out in 2010 made by Neo Flash
Here is a product comments link that gives some info, its on page 4 so scroll back to page 1 for older news.

Ignore the shit on top as that is NOT what I am talking about you will have to scroll down to the "Forum" pages

    ...I'd like that device.

But the portable n64 I found was way cooler-even if it needed real carts :)

i would have liked ot have gotten that, but it was too much money when i found it a couple of years ago and i can just play the roms on my Wii/PC/PSP...so why bother really with that (for me at least) would be cool to have though!

I really hope you guys are not going on about the picture...its a bitch to find one as it has been discontinued...in case you missed that part.

Anyway, I agree with ace I can play N64 roms on my Wii as well so I see no reason to shell out that kind of money.

What about a portable N64 with one of them built in?? That would be cool.
