Ok so I am new to this posting and have only posted 4 times before so excuse if I am missing something I should have read - a friend has a n5 card and I have been told that as n5 long ago gave up the ghost on new firmware (yes I know they are rubbish!) but apparently you can use another firmware...ysmenu. is this so and how do I put it on to the card and what do I need to delete in the case of older firmware - I am a mum and not very good at this flash cart stuff but try to muddle my way through but this has left me very confused - as I said before I am no up-to-date gamer so if you can point me in the right direction I am more than willing to sit and decipher and attempt to work it out - thanks for your patience and understanding

As far as I am aware you cannot run ysmenu on the N5.

n5 is a clone of r4 and r4 uses it

try to set it up like you would a r4 and see if it works

Clones rarely use the same firmware.

YSMenu does not run well on clones of the R4.
