See, THIS time it DID manage to save, but... I think it only counted the first time I did so. I made it all the way to chapter 6, and when I opened it again later, I was back at the beginning just after joining the guild. I'm this close to just giving it up and not even trying. >.< What could it possibly be this time....? Here's the exact settings I have it on:

I'm honestly baffled this time around. I don't think it's something that just redownloading will help.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure any advice'll be better than "maybe it doesn't like laptops". >.>

EDIT2: Also, sorry for posting 3 topics about the same stupid game and all... This'll be the last. If it doesn't work after this, I'm done. (With the exception of possibly one as a last resort.)

There isn't an 'Auto' option on the free version, is there? I don't see one.

Even so, you think that'll fix the problem? I mean, I've been using 512KB, and I was about to try 64KB, but there's no way to tell if it worked until after I've wasted 3-4 hours playing through for a bit, only to find that it didn't. (Sorry if you find this as a bit of a.... Hostile response; I'm kinda frustrated right now)

theres a thread somewhere on this forum with the non-free version in, the alternative to auto is trial and error until you find the one that works, unfortunately.

You can get the non-free 2.6a version here. http://nocash.emubase.de/n-west-w.zip
