So just recently I have received an error 1101 when trying to run pirated games on my Neogamma Rev 14 R7. None of my games, which worked before, are running with Neogamma. I also noticed that Super Smash Bros. Brawl (legit copy) is also Not working in the Disc channel (However my legit copy of Sonic and the Secret rings and Conduit are working). So is there a way to fix my wii. I really don't want to send it in to Nintendo.

Sounds like you have outdated IOS'. You need to update your IOS' with Pimp My Wii.

Can be found here - http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=35411
    Or here - http://webrewwii.blogspot.com/2010/08/pimp-my-wii-202.html

It will update a lot of your IOS' if you have never ran it before. Also, NeoGamma isn't the greatest disc launcher ever. :p
Uloader is pretty good. Pimp My Wii will also install the latest cIOS for Uloader to work properly and will also install the latest cIOS by Waninkoko.

It should work after the update.

Ok thanks I will update my IOS, but I still don't understand why my retail copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl is not working. I mean, it just magically stopped working. The disc channel says unable to read disc.

EDIT: It has no scratches or smudges

    Ohhhh...Have you heard of DarkCorp?
    That may fix your problem.

I was maybe thinking, can a dirty lens be the problem of this. As in If I buy the Nintendo wii lens cleaner, will it allow me to read the discs? Because I don't think installing Dark Corp will solve the problem.

You might be surprised. Slim chance it could be a dirty lens but I wouldn't bank on it. also seeing as your wii is modded/softmodded you might want to look into a HDD to play your games saves on the discs and won't wear out the wii as quick.

Like Thasaidon said, USB loading is much faster and sometimes even better than disc loading.

My issue was with retail game cube games, but still sort of the same I guess.

and yes after you let me screw it up with your fancy words and technical jargon.

I know its been a while since I lasted posted.... but the error 1101 happens again. At first I bought the wii lens cleaner to fix it and everything worked fine and the pirated games worked fine too. And then now the error happens again and I tried cleaning the lens again, and nothing happens. All of my retail games work fine (including the dual layered ones). I then tried using pimp my wii to see if that would fix the problem, and I noticed that during the installation I got constant error messages of downloads failing. So is there any other way to fix this error...
PS: I noticed in Neogamma it says rev20 instead of rev14. I think pimp my wii screwed up something....

Well, you could have chosen not to install cIOSXrev20b, but you did I guess.
So now, you have to reinstall cIOS38 rev14.
