i just need to let some steam out and my therapist said writing is better than punching people and stuff. so here's the deal, i went to prestigious school, one of the best in the country, but well, i sucked in it due to my first real feel in the real world and that damned peer pressure which made my first year in college a living hell. so as expected, i failed and went to a new university which passed itself as a "university". well, that's where it all started why my university sucked. i went there to apply as a student. they didnt told me at first that i can apply as a freshman instead of a transferee... so i enrolled as a transferee and i stayed at that school for 4 long years, and yes, 4 whole years cause i took summer classes too to make my graduation a bit faster which didnt even helped and it even costed me extras. well, i'll skip those 4 years and well, when i got my transcript of records- grades, i complained about seeing that my failed subjects are written there and not just my credited subjects. and when they told me i should have enrolled as freshman 4 years ago, i questioned them, why didnt they told me of that option? and this is the registrar's reply: " Why would we need to tell you that?, you should have appreciated that we accepted you. Well, this what i am angry about: 1st: They didnt told me of the option to enrol as a freshman so that i would have to pay more. They had that hidden motive that when i graduated, they would ask more money to have my records my records changed. 2nd: why would i appreciate the fact that they accepted me, when there are other university and college that are willing to take me in, isnt it that they should thank me that i choosed their school? when in fact that there school has a few enrolles and a high tuition fee? and the fact that i am paying every cents and unlike others that still has remaining debts? 3rd: that when i passed my licensure exam, they are boasting and using as advertisement my name that they are the one that made me passed my exam. to hell with them, i passed the exam without their help, those that they taught me, didnt even showed in the exam. it was my own review that let me passed it.
Well thats because we are from the same country, Mr. Cahos Well, I already accepted the fact that it was my fault, i really should have asked a thousand questions before I enrolled again. And I now know that the registrar was not at fault, it was the adviser during the enrolling period that didnt told me that I could not use my High School Grade to enrol. Also, when i was rejected at the public school i was applying, the interviewer even joked that i should have just forge my records, it may had passed as genuine cause i have the passed the Board Exams which makes me eligible for a job in the government.
Now this is extremely familiar, useless & pointless advisors you only ever get to see during registration period who you need to suck up to but don't really say much, less give you direct answers to questions you ask, who then tell you when you mess up that you should have known that from the start. Freakin' useless asshole bastards is what these people are Yeah this too, total Philippine Bureaucratic Red tape & corruption at it's finest Absolutely disgusting & shameful... tsk tsk.
ha, i'll not go to forging my documents, you may physically get away with it, but my inside will shrink to the size of a prune. i'll just go to a new university and take up my masteral degree, at least it will cover my old records and the name of the new university will at least sound a bit tempting for employment. I already tried going to UST, it may cost an arm ang a leg, but at least when i'll be working, i can put a prostetic leg and arm with my new income. lol I also tried PNU due to the low tuition and the name that i will get when i pass. its the best in terms of educational teaching
You totally disreguarded me, I'm in the Philippines too! Anyways, it really stinks, the school lost my social studies I documents and I had to bring it again, only to find out that they found it again (Yay) I totally shoved my summer school report card for SSI in the San Beda Registrar's face
sorry for that! what are you taking? i took up education. damn, i should have choosen pol.sci and then go to law. i would have been rich by now.
not to sound bitter or anything, can i persuade you to take undergrad like criminology or accounting? dont take pol.sci as an undergrad then go to law, for me, its a stupid start for a lawyer because political science for a start is for Politics- people who want to run for public office rather than for a lawyer who is more on court stuff and legal matters. if you take up accounting then law, you can be a CPA-Lawyer *more money* or a criminology then law, then you can be a criminal lawyer and a judge in the future. *bribes and stuff...joke!*
nope, just stating facts. lol. I was once a political science student from UST and when the prof asked some of us why we choosed pol sci and answered because we want to take law, it was bull crap, we should have taken Legal management or criminology...its more related to law rather than pol sci which tackles politics.
There's a reason why it was called Political Science... Anyways, I guess I'm going under a medical course, so if I'm lucky, my parents will let me stay at a dorm in some place so i can fake taking a medical course, and take up something else instead. But being a pharmacist sounds like fun!
why fake it? tell them you want what you want to take! parents knows best in taking care of their children but its up to the children to pursue what they want when they leave their parent's house. Just dont believe everything those university people tell you. you are their boss, what you want should always be priority, and if they told you otherwise, screw them and tell them to f@$k off because they are not paying you, you are paying them.
sorry, it was years ago. and I'll correct your sentence because there are many English proficient nazi here. lol... it's: do you know her? well, just tell your sister to keep on reading if she is a polsci student... a single act of slacking can cause a lot of poor grades
Polisci sounds nasty... Is it really worth the effort? Or Criminology will lead to a dangerous (yet funner) job?
