My saved games have disapeared?

Greetings,

I read the must read files for this forum and while it did cover the loss of save files , it doesn't really fit whats happened.

I have No$gba Emulator 2.6a , up until about 3 hours ago it ran perfect then it started jumping ,bad picture , even worse sound , etc etc
now i tried to load one of my Pokemon games and it loads perfect but my saved game has disappeared?

Any suggestions as to what i may do to fix this ? or where my save files may have went?

Search your No$gba directory.See whether there's a BATTERY folder or not...

 

There is one but it is empty? is it supost to be?

 

It should contain all of your nds game save file.
e.g pokemon_platinum.SAV

are you sure you didn't make any modification in your nds file?

 

certain i havent messed with any thing ..I am too afraid something like this will happen , lol
so sence the folder is empty , that means i have to start all over , right ?

 

You may just have to start again. Make sure to keep backups of save files.

and how It can be missing if no one messed it up

Try search for that file first.
maybe it was moved somewhere.
Start ---> Search ----> .sav

 

ok i found the .sav files , like two folders over from where the battery folder is . so what do i do c/p them into the right folder ?


I tryed that justnow and it didnt work ?
sorry to be a hassle , i just dont wanna lose my pokemon game data , lol it was a long time in the making , lol long for me anyways ,lol

 

Make sure they're named the same as the ROM.

MAKE A BACKUP SOMEWHERE ELSE FIRST!!!

Your explanation is confusing...
maybe you could post some pic?

For example for what anandjones say..
Your rom name :- Pokemon_Platinum(U).nds
Your sav file name :- Pokemon_Platinum(U).sav

 

thank you for your help , I figured it out from what you told me , I would not have been able to get my saves back with out your help , for that i am grateful
