    It connects to the computer via USB, it charges, but it won't be recognised on the computer; like, I can't transfer songs and etc to it.
    Tell me if you need any extra information, but please tell me specifics.
    Thankyou =]
    By The way, the last thing I did with it is.
    I connected it with a USB-to-Wall Charger converter which was damaged, which needed a wall charger converter.
    It blew and broke the wall converter;
    Do you think that it may be the reason why it's stuffing up ??
    Thanks again =]

    My bet is it draws more power than the USB port can provide, and the internal battery does not have enough charge to maintain it. Turn it off and charge it for a few hours then try again.

    I guess that makes sense, but it's been working before that. So if I was to leave it charging all night, then in the morning tried to reconnect it, it would work ?

    P.S. Is this in the correct section? Sorry if not.

    Thanks =]
    You're cool Loonylion.
    You always seem to help with my technical difficulties. Yay =]

    EDIT: More complications.
    it says that the battery is full.
    Now I'm really confused.
    :s I think I'll try what you said Loony, then if it doesn't work I'll probably contact the Sandisk company.

    2nd EDIT: I changed the battery, to an older, undercharged one. I also used a different cord, that didn't work.

    3rd EDIT: I asked my friend who used to work for Sandisk, he said to let the battery drain completely then fully recharge it.
    NOW I'm confused.

    try plugging it into a different USB hub then (each stack of two ports is a hub) Make sure there is nothing else usb powered in that hub (flashdrives, wireless dongles, some scanners). if it has a separate power adaptor that plugs into the mains then its not usb powered.

    One of the hubs has a USB mouse, the other has a USB Keyboard. I've tried in all my four ports but still no luck. I'll put my keyboard with my mouse. maybe that'll work.
    [I tried it] Still, nothing.
    I think what I've done is I've gone and fried the connection port in the mp3 player.
    Maybe.

    EDIT: Oh and just so you know;
    The MP3 player charges with the USB connector to the computer;
    I have to connect the MP3 to the computer to charge. =]

    Yes, so does my old one, and what you said in your first post is exactly how it behaves when its almost dead.

    The whole MP3 player almost dead?
    Oh hell no. please tell me otherwise.
    Oh and I switched the Mouse/Keyboard Hub with the MP3 player's hub. still nothing.

    :eek:
    I've only had it for a couple of months.
    Although it was a refurb bought off ebay.
    Oh crap.
    Is there anyway I can at least try to preserve it's life?

    try it on another computer, if it still doesnt work then theres something wrong with it.

    I tried it on two other computers, all it does is charge.
    I reckon what I'm gonna do is, use all the battery up, then charge it when it's finished, and see if it works then.
    If not, well then I'll contact the seller and ask for a refund. I think there's a warranty.
    And if he says no, I'll take it to Sandisk.
    Thanks Loony.

    Sandisk probably won't repair it if its been repaired/refurbished by a third party.

    Nah it was a Sandisk refurb.
    I know because it had the "REFURB" sticker-thingy's on the back

    I'm not really sure how to contact Sandisk.
    Like, where do I email or whatever.
    Could someone (preferably Winterreise, he has personal experience) please help me out here?
