I don't intend to start something that might turn nasty, but on another forum I frequent I got into a scuffle with this guy's fans mourining his death, whilst I didn't give squat.

So the king of pop just died, hoorah, so what? :p

I never liked the guy & just because the thread was for sharing your thoughts on his passing it doesn't mean I have no right to tell everybody off that I'm actually glad the guy died because as I said, I didn't like him & his music.

Just because the title of the thread was, "Goodbye....", it doesn't necessarily mean a fond, happy or even a respectful farewell. Haven't you seen villains in a movie where the villain tells his enemy, the hero,"Goodbye"? Quite frankly some people can be so retarded at times.

i personally dont find death to be sad.......i never feel that way when my grandma die, to me death is just a phase of life, so i dont see the point of crying or even feel sad for someone who died.

life is just a test whether you're worthy of a good death and a good afterlife.

every death is the same, you die and your body got decomposted.

yes, every death ends in the same way "you die".
But of course where will the consciousness go? It doesn't hurt to believe in after life, you know

    On to the subject!

I'm not shocked to know that michael died nor did I care that he died. most celebrity/famous people die early.

your consciousness die when your brain cell dies, which is within 3mins after your heart stop.

...i kinda expected his death to go like this...he was physically weak...

I always thought i was numb to death and it's affects, but it seems i am not...

Don't mind me-i only respect that they will be remembered...

...if it's someone who hasn't got rank, then yes they are just another rotting corpse...

It's only been recent that death, loss, and the whole humanity that has been showing in me...(I've been dealing with a loss...that I've been responsible for, not life thankfully but almost)

Seeing your first post (first 4 I suppose) remind me of the old me-cold, but calculated, and to be honest, it makes sence, and I would agree...

I was mouring thier deaths-I suppose if it were a politician or prehaps a celeb i didn't like (while Rove's wife was tragic, rove himselof isn't) then prehaps I would have said a simerlar thought...prehaps it's was out of guilt (but of what, I have no idea...prehaps of the families that would lose them prehaps...)

Unless the body is donated to research-btw I wonder if they will determin...once and for all....if MJ's skin was really skin bleaching, or a freak skin dieses...

That is one mystery that I want to know...

I wonder if this was the same response that Elvis recieved when he died...mixed opinions, of mourning, of respect, or just not caring because of the stupidity in thier lives...

And just remember-I am not a fan-just a person trying to be more human, out of all the celebs who I never took interest in (which would be 90% of them) this is one who I knew if he died, the whole world would cave in to mourn...about...80% I bet, but that number doesn't matter....

After all, freedom of speech, this is just my opinion (and clarifing that I'm not a fan of the reason why pop is so manufactured :( )

I don't know who's retarded here, you or your friend. People you don't like may die, but you certainly don't need to be an asshole about it. Let his fans mourn him in peace, if only to await the NEXT big celebrity's death. With all the due respect, how would you feel if your mother died, you made a thread about it here, and some asshat decides to be a troll and ruin the mood for everyone -.-

I never liked what he stood for either, but I liked some of his songs and I know he revolutionized the music industry (for better or for worse). So chill, have some respect for the dead, even if you don't like them.

We all have our opinions and I don't blame you for what you said.
I didn't like him either, but I respect him always, because he did so much for the music. As a singer and a person, who loves music with all her heart, I was little shocked when I heard that Michael Jackson has died. As they always say "The King of Pop". But after when I heard how did he died, I thought that, well, no wonder he died.

He's dead, and he's not coming back. So, story over.

Okay.....another pedophile kicked the bucket....that's one more in that long list of people that deserve to die.

There were several of his songs that I liked, but IMHO the world is better off without him.....and so are the worlds children.

Re: My Rant on a certain celebrity's death

I will certainly not defend his past one iota. If he did indeed hurt a child or many children, that is one crime I could never forgive. To be honest his music(older music I mean) was good at times, but his behavior off stage, is what got him into much trouble. He was a songwriter as well as a performer, but I myself cannot stand anyone that would hurt or even attempt to hurt a child, especially the one I saw last night that was stricken with cancer.

His life is over now, and the media will harp on this until some other celeb, decides to go. On that note, anyone hear anymore about Patrick Swayze?
I read he's still alive with liver and pancreatic cancer, taking gamma knife chemo.
