My r4 sdhc (clone) uses the original r4 firmware

I got this card : http://www.r4sdhc.com/r4sdhc.asp (looks exactly the same)
However, the firmware for it (1.34) doesn't work. Only the 1.18 one for original r4 works. Can anyone tell me what card I'm using?

Also, I tried everything in order to play pokemon white but I always get a white screen after loading the rom. Any help there?

And sadly I still get a white screen with that firmware.

 

I see the R4SDHC: Use the cards original firmware

From the R4SDHC folder , Get the TTMenu folder and YSMenu.nds loader and place them onto the microsd root, Then while on your DS boot the YSMenu.nds loader, Unsure if would work as they are many diffrent R4SDHC cards

 

This doesn't work either, I get a black screen when starting my ds

 

Use the firmware that originaly works v1.18, And use the ysmenu.nds <- boot it like a game as a seciond firmware + TTMenu folder

 

I get the white screen again by doing what you said :/

 

Sorry it look like it has come to a dead end, I will me uploading for a genuin R4SDHC fimrware YSMEnu in a bit

Sometimes a good format with pansonic formatter may help at times

I found the solution to my problem! My card was actually a r4 new. Their website is down so I found the latest firmware by googling.
I then used the latest version of RTG multi-card upgrade and it worked!

 

J3ueno, I'm having the exact same problem. I have the same R4 that looks like the pictures you've provided and only works with the 1.18 firmware for the original R4. It would be really appreciated if you explain how you solved your problem.

Alright, if your problem is the same as mine, you need a r4 new firmware.
Download it here: http://filetrip.net/f21865-R4-SDHC-(r4new-com-version)-1-23.html
Copy the files to your sd card.

After that, download RGF's latest update here: http://filetrip.net/g25123605-RetroGameFan-Multi-Cart-Update.html
In the r4 clone folder, copy the ttmenu floder and ysmenu.nds to your sd card, open your ds and then launch ysmenu.nds
Select your pokemon rom (i use the us patched version, haven't tested non-patched roms) and that's it.

 

r4 new is not r4 original

I think I may have just figured out how to get mine to work. Because I have this EXACT problem too! Wow, this is confusing lol. I'm going to try this and see if it works for me

YES IT WORKS. You are a god or something. Haven't tried it with Pokemon yet but Okamiden is sitting here on the start screen so since that's an even newer game I'm pretty sure Pokemon will work too!
