hello everyone. I wanted to play a newer game but it did not work with my old r4 card system anymroe so i updated it to r4 wood and all went well....that was...until i noticed that everytime when i tried to play one of my older games and wanted to load my save data they were gone! i had a look at this myself and this is the deal: i always save my games and their save data's on my computer. i copied them to my card but appearantly with the r4 wood version, it does not delete these save files but it CREATES a new extra save file wich causes me to having to fully replay these games and not being able to acces my original save files eventhough they are still on the card. so what can i do about this? or do i need to switch back to an older version and delete the r4 wood? it would be nice if i could play these games with their original save files on the " wood" version because i like it but this is really annoying! i hope someone can help me?
I think the sav file changed when you update to wood, I think you need to find a converter. Look at the saves files I think they went from nds.sav to .sav or the otherway round. You might be able to change it easily by renaming but back up if not.
