This has been a problem to me since some months, and I´m getting quite tired of it. So when I exit a game or turn my psp on and I access the game folder -I have a lot of demos- and this message appears: There are no games. This is easily fixed by going to the music or video folder, but its quite annoying though. Anyways, I recently got my router back and the psp internet broswer is different. For every two pages I load I have to exit the browser and enter again because a "DNS error" message appears. This didint happen to me before. Are these two problems related or is it my routers fault?
I don't think game demos count as proper games? The DNS error is probably because of your wireless router's configuration.
have you tried reflashing the firmware? (im assuming you already know how to do that) maybe a fresh copy of the firmware will fix the demo part. as far as the DNS errors, check the config on your router, make sure your PSP mac address is on the wireless access list, and check your settings on the PSP for networking, you might have messed up an entry in there. auto detect is fine. make sure that you type in any security stuff correctly.
I solved it. The WLAN power save option was on. Do I fell stupid now. Didn't solve the "There are no games" thing though.
that WLAN power save is probably the reason why I can't connect to any online games. gotta turn that off...
