so i was downloading from the site when the hardware failure happened and now all my points have been reset to 1199 points i had 10k to 14k points saved up from the time registered back in 2009. is it possible to get them back?
yes i was downloading a wii game at the time of the hardware failure my download stop at 45% and i tried to restart it and it came up with no server response. i then looked at my points and they had been reset to the default value for a new account.
1199 isn't the default value for a new account. And I can't see that there's anything that would cause them to reset to that value. Seph will have to investigate this.
ah sorry i meant to say close to the default value it was at 899 points at the time of the reset and before the hardware failure when i started the download it was at like 12k. and that is after my points were taken for the download. so i am asking for the points back after i started the download which should be 12k points and 12k is a roof estimate on the points i should have. but please have Seph investigate it and thank you for taking the time to do so. p.s and it could have been the fact that i went in and out of the download page thinking it was my internet connection.
I actually don't think it's possible for you to have lost these points as we only allow one download at a time and our download log only shows 1 download which may have been lost. However, with all this RAID recovery stuff going on I can't be bothered to actually go into this so I have returned your points to 10k.
