My microSD reader fell...

    ...and broke open.

    It works, but it is way slower then before.

    It looks like this:

    Any way how I can fix it?

    put it back in the case and tape the two halves together?

    Impossible, the chips are probably cracked, get a new one.

    or some place has gotten bit loose and is slowing down the card

    It is like a 1 1/2 USB.

    Get a new one mate. Check out Deal Extreme, I got mine for 2$ there.

    It works, and that's enough. No need for a new one: I got another. But this one is my 'friend', so...
