Most of the time it doesn't work. I've hit it, I've tried blowing and using a tooth brush which solves the problem temporarily, but eventually it stops working again. I don't want to play into Nintendo's hands and send it in to get fixed. There HAS to be some way I can fix the problem or at least make it work for a reliable amount of time. Please help. Thanks!
only way i can think of to fix it permanently is to open up the DS, buy new shoulder buttons, and replace the old ones with a solder i heard new buttons are usually around 10 bucks. i forget if they come in pairs i tried looking into the thing once, and found that fact. then i just got really scared of breaking the thing and put it back together mine doesn't work well either, but usually i get at least SOME level of reaction
risky indeed, one of my friends at school took his apart to try fixing something, snapped some random wire and screwed up the top screen or something
well really there is no way unless you bring it to experts or give it too nintendo (which you don't want to) SOOO buy a new one =P since it's not THAT expensive and trust me it happened with both my my Gameboy Sp's XD love that gameboy
