    Hi Everyone!

I go by dz5003 online. I'm a single mom of 1. I was distraught when my 5 year old stated that for their 6th birthday they wanted a DS! I thought - how am I ever going to afford THAT!?!

Fortunately, I found a great used DS lite (ebay) & went looking for games... I'd been trying to buy games for under $10 each (ebay, yard sales, half.com) - which is possible, but challenging - and I couldn't find the newer/popular games even near that price point!

THEN I found Acekard 2 & Romulation! I was skeptical at first - thinking I would do something wrong, not know how to get the Acekard to work and/or the games wouldn't work correctly... I was wrong & I've never been so happy to say it! I followed the directions for the Acekard software and started downloading games. I got to try the games out last night after my kiddo went to bed and YIPPEE! IT WORKED PERFECTLY!!! I couldn't believe it! Game, after game, after game - they opened up and played flawlessly! I can't describe how thrilled I am that I found this site and it works!!!

This site is a life saver! I really am thrilled to be here!

I've said this before on another parent's introduction thread before, so let me tell you as well.

I really, really love stories like this, parents finding RomUlation to surprise their children with games for a birthday, Christmas or Acing tests :D

It really is a great & positive way to reward you kid/s for their hard work, or simply to say that you love them so much that you'd go through hell & back for them. Really brings a tear to me eyes :)

With that out of the way, welcome to our fine community :)

Thanks so much! This site really is a wonderful place! I'm so thrilled with this site that I'm thinking about saving some money up to buy myself a DS! I'm sure my kiddo won't want mom hogging the birthday gift!!!

Thanks to all for the warm welcome! I can't wait to learn more.

If you browse through some of the other people's introductions you'll find several of the other parents' threads & you'll see you're not alone. Some of them did end up buying their own DSes because they didn't want to hog their kids' DSes, LOL :D

And when your kid's playing things like Pokemon really surprise him by challenging him to a Poke Battle via WiFi ;D

Well, you have to make sure its in proper working order, especially the games. ;) I like using that excuse and telling them I am "testing" the game and it may take a few days maybe longer if its one I like. ;D
