My ePSXe screen just goes black when i play.

    Whenever I try to load any type of .ISO or .CUE or whatever, the ePSXe screen just goes black like its gonna load, but then it just stays black and does nothing.All my configurations should be correct, and I 've downloaded all the necessary plugins, but still not working, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    do you have a bios file installed?

    i have the bios plugins and all that configured ive tried using ePSXe 1.6 and 1.7, neither work with any ISO, one thing that might be crucial which I forgot to mention, I run on Vista, not XP

    I've got ePSXe to run on Vista no problem, both 1.6 and 1.7 so that's not much of an issue other than it probably won't run quite as fast. How long do you wait to see if the black screen goes away? I have a pretty fast computer and it takes a full 10 seconds before the game actually loads past it in Vista.
