my emulator is not reading the file right

    my emulator is ePSXe Vs1.6.0 running standerd plugins

    i downloaded FF8 disk one from here and my emulator will not play it
    any reason why?

    btw the file format that its in is 7Z file, would i have to convert it to play it?

    you need to extract the file with 7-Zip, and i think WinRar can do it too

    Also you might want to update your emulator to version 1.7.0, it's supposed to run better.

    well now i have another issue with my settup

    when i play the game it runs at super fast speeds
    how do i get it to play normal?

    Limit the framerate in the video config.
