My dsi use to be able to read my r4i but now i keep on getting the same error message again and again The message says "an error has occurred. Press and hold the power button to turn the system off." that's what i get every time i use it with my r4 or for that fact any flashcard. What should i do?

P.S they are both up to date softwere wise.

You probably updated to the latest DSi firmware (1.4.1) or something like what is in the parentheses.

Your flash cart is blocked by the firmware now. You'll have to check the site with your official firmware to see if a bypass was released. If not, you'll have to get a new flash cart.

If you need one and have the money, I recommend the Supercard DSTwo from www.shoptemp.com
If you don't have that much money to spend, the Acekard2i is also good.

    Yeah, 100% right.

And I highly recommend DSTWO. Just got it today and it's already played the new Pokemon Ranger game with no issues at all.
