my dolphin emulator shuts down when playing fire emblem

first of all thanks for this great site.the problem is that my dolphin emulator svn r 2745 keeps shutting down when im playing fire emblem path of radiance,it seems to work fine,no problems with the graphic or sound but about 2 minutes into the intro it crashes and shuts down my emulator (dolphinIl.exe has stopped working) and then windows closes it and i have to restart it.im running it on windows 7, my video card is a nvidia geforce gt 240m and ive enabled the dual core and open gl setting in the configuration menu. ohh one more thing,where the heck do you save your settings in the configuration menu,i only see two options below either close or about,an ok or apply option would be very helpful cause it goes back on default settings when you open it again. so if anyone could help me i would be very grateful, thanks everyone.
