My converted R4 saves won't work for no$gba

So I went on shunyweb, and put in the R4 .sav.
I changed the preferences on shunyweb to convert R4 to no4gba.

Source Format: R4 (.sav)
Target Format: no$GBA (.sav)


But when I went to play the Rom, the emulator wouldn't load the save file.
I know I put the save in the right place due to replacing an actual no$gba save with the new converted save.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

These are my no$gba settings.


These are the saves I have tried:

• MegaMan ZX (U)
• Crash King (E)
• Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (U)
• Pokemon Platinum (U)
• Pokemon Heart Gold (U)

 

Have you renamed the save files name to the same name as the ROM ?
And put the save files on the BATTERY folder.

And change the NDS Cartridge Backup Media to Auto.

 

See what your bat folder , see what name it makes with a fresh game

Then rename your sav to that name and replace it...

 

lol. I'm not a dumbass. <______< That's the same deal with using the actual R4.

Ah, if there isn't any Auto choice, that means the one you have isn't the 2.6a version.
Download and use the 2.6a version from here http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=1462.0
See if it works.
