Ok, as I'm visiting ebay, I find a page...after a few seconds firefox suddenly goes "404 error" and this crap pops up!

    http://www.mybrowserbar.com/cgi/errors.cgi?r=n&q=http%3A%2F%2Fpages.ebay.com.au%2Frtm_default%2F682_1.html&ccv=130&cnid=937811&ISN=0CE7A91172F041AC896D749E4F5BD2FB&type=404&ct=12

    Link isn't broken.

Is it ebay, or my browser (firefox latest).

And yes, I have OS issues, could it again be related-if so it might prompt me to do another format.

I don't think its firefox at all, it looks like malware to me.

Yeah, it could be both, try scanning your com for malware and re-installing your firefox and see how?

Did you install any suspicious add-ons or went on any suspicious web pages? But then again... It's hard to tell what are suspicious web pages.

if it's a suspicious/attack/malware page, FireFox will automatically block the site, and let you pick weather to go to your homepage, or continue....

I have no clue...I'm using ArchBang right now so no windows virus is affecting it at all... :p

No crash for me. Just a 404 error.

mybrowserbar sounds like a toolbar malware.

...your telling me an addon that I never wanted or attempted to install might be the cause?

    IT WON'T STOP!

    Spybot only found a cookie...

...should I prehaps try a full format-ever since I had windows 7 I had other errors which I made threads on...stupid admin errors.
