My biggest regret is selling my PS2 before playing Kingdom Hearts 2. And i can't afford to buy a PS2 after just buying a PS3 (Which can play PS1 games but not PS2, wtf?).

What am i getting at? Well i wanted to know if Kingdom Hearts 2 will play well on an Emulator, if so which one?

Yeah but those are the ultra-rare no-longer-produced super ps3's... I have the new 250gb which has no backward compatibility :(

The best emulator for PS 2 is PCSX2 and you need a good PC Specs for it.
I've tried to play KH 2 on it, like walking on the moon they're slow moving.

But it also depends on how you configure the emulator.

yeah sony kinda messed up with the backwards capabilities...>_>

my best bet would be to borrow a ps2 from a friend if possible...

  7. aren't PS2's only 99$?

I'm not a pro in PS3 subjects, but cant you hack the PS3 and let it play PS2 games?

    no, PS3 cannot be hacked.

It supposedly was hacked by the iPhone hacker, Geohot.

I don't know if it's true, but he says that he has accomplished a lot of it so far.

I requires a hardware add-on with soldering and a device to send an electrical pulse.

It's weird....I don't know if it truly has been or not.. :(

Check out his blog for yourself...

But yes. So far nothing has come of this "hack".

After purchasing a $300 PS3 and additional $60 games, I'm sure most people won't be willing to throw down another $100 on another console in THIS economy...

Almost 4 years it took to "hack" it...

I miss my PS2 with my KH games.
While you are at it though, check out Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories RE.
The PS2 version of that game is just......wow.

Those ultra rare ones are the 60gb (pal and nstc) and certain 80gb models (nstc only).

Many 60gb's sold second hand are infact broken, and in need of repair, so...that sucks :(

And as other's said, pcsx2 does work with it, it may seem slow but that depends on pc specs, emulator set up and all the normal stuff to keep a pc fast like defragmenting XD
