My AK2i aint working

I went and downloaded the official firmware, but when I try to start it up, it wont even boot. I'll get the health screen, "Touch to continue", and after that nothing.

Same thing with the GBATemp guide.

Also, using a DSL, and it says on the back that it supports DSL.

Sure it's not a fake, since there's no window in the back.

 

Have you tried using AKAIO?

That's WAY better than the OFW.

Try reformatting your card and that everything is in working order and that your Micro SD card isn't write protected.

 

Would you guys still recommend me getting an AK2i? Because a lot of people are saying its good and bad ... So I'm sort of in between the middle for it ...

how am i supposed to boot up an AK2i? do i start it like a legit game or does it start like an R4 (doesn't go to the DS menu screen)?

 

You have to start it like a normal game...

no but is tha akmenu4.nds in the root? if not put it there. i suggest to make a games folder so you dont get confused.

if you have no emulators or homebrew files, there should be 3 files on the root. akmenu4.nds _aio and a games folder that should work. maybe you bought a fake acekard?

 

yes, its in the root. I just noticed that as of AKAIO 1.5 clones are now "officially unsupported" does that mean I have a clone D:

i just noticed that bewteen AKAIO 1.5 and 1.6, one loader called akploader.nds is missing, should i have that?
