These are my little sister's friends. She spends the most time with nuts. Because she's really doesn't go outside much and likes video games, these are her only friends. She carries them wherever she goes, and she needs help carrying all of them from room to room.

I personally like Linux (the Penguin) the most... what about you?

It's not healthy for a girl her age to not socialize with her friends, I'd definitely encourage that...

On that note though, Cow Cow is definitely my favourite.

How incredibly cool are you that you don't tease your sister and encourage her imagination. Very awesome. And Cool. :)

In regards to the concerns of her socializing with children her own age, She is 3 so right now it's more about development of her mind than of her social skills. At least that's what I think. :)

And pre-school is a great place to start for that and she can't go in to pre-school until she's 4 anyways. :)

And Fruit Pop and Fishykey are the awesome-est ones. :)

How do you think children develop their mind more, by playing alone with their dolls or by playing with their dolls together with their friends?
I know it's a young age and I'm not saying being alone is bad but "these are her only friends" can't be entirely healthy.

Spooky is the coolest. But three year old girls having skeletons, she will definately have a very open imagination. Not saying it's a bad thing, but it might not be a good thing either. Cheers :D

She only has one (human) friend outside of her family, and that's someone named Mia she sees every 3 weeks.

Yes, I understand that but it seems to me she has a friend in her brother and her parents. I'm not saying she shouldn't socialize now. What I'm saying is that I don't think they need to start worrying about it with her only being 3 years old. :)

I'm 26 and I still sleep with this stuffed dog I've had since I was 3 years old. And he is my best friend. I even still talk to him.... And uh look how I turned....

You should maybe find her a lot of friends..... Like 20..... just to be safe! ^^

Ha, yeah, I agree. Our family itself is very secluded, and we hardly ever go outside if it isn't traveling to the car. Same with her. She stays home and watches TV all day.

i actually know a little about this as i'm a chidcare worker. i'm not going to say what u should do or not do but staying in doors is not so good as fresh air is something that is good for children. the mass of toys that she calls her friends is cool but it does show that she is needing other friends, well i say friends it doesn't need to be a "friend" just children of the same age to play/spend time with. altho children don't have to be around other children to develop normaly it does help a massive amount, not seeing other children of the same age regularly can affect there social skills with other children when they start school. at the end of the day theres no wright or wrong answer with children.
again i'm not going to say what you should do but maybe suggest a nursary/pre-school once a week or something like that. my son is two and whaching him interact with other children has showed me that he would realy benafit from a couple of mornings a week in a nursary.

anyway to answer the toy Q. a laghed my ass off when i saw one was called god, i love how imaginative children can be but my fav would be strut

He was named god because his shirt says "Awesome god", so my older brother named him god. Anyway, I've seen kids basically live in childcare center, and the results aren't pretty.

as to it being hard it can be but then its also the most rewarding job ever, its hardest on my body children are full of energy so u don't get a seconds rest but its hardest on my back i'm over 6 ft and if u ever seen the size of the tables they sit at i'm constantly at a half bent over position.
