My 1st cup of wine

last night is my friend's wedding, and my friend force a cup of red wine on me, saying "As an adult you need to learn how to drink alcohol, plus red wine is good for you"

so i drink it, and the 1st slip is horrible.... it smell bad and it taste bad..... i did finish that cup of wine since after 1/3 i cant take it anymore.....

how do people enjoy drinking that?

 

red wine is generally an acquired taste, I myself dont like red wine (or white for that matter).

I know plenty of adults who dont drink, its up to you whether you want to drink or not. Im borderline alcoholic so dont bother asking me for advice on not drinking

 

it makes you look "socialized"

when your young alcohol tastes horrible any way, as you get older the taste becomes more enjoyable.

i'm a big drinker and still don't like red wine its nasty so don't feel bad
but i do enjoy white wine.

 

I can't stand wine myself...
I want to like it...but can't bring myself to drink more than a sip
White wine is slightly better than red, but not by much

Rum & Coke is my drink of preference

 

I hate that stuff...it has no taste, well, to me that is.....

 

Tiz a piss poor replacement for rum. Me just be a sayin'......

well i hate an alcoholic drink
so i don't know how to enjoy wine
but my friend said to enjoy the wine you must have a snack with you or just drink it a little bit

 

Wine is really nice, but I don't like the taste of beer, but hey I drink both

I can't stand wine. Tastes nasty. I am however a big drinker too and party a lot. Generally avoid wine and beer but I love rum, vodka, whiskey, brandy etc. I also love Jager and tequila. Oh yes

 

I'm pretty sure it breaks a rule or two

Same here, red wine is atrocious and white wine is divine.

Anything + Vodka is good for me. I don't like much else. I hate coolers. UGH.

iamlegend i'm sure must be a barrel of laughs to go out with drinking, i'm sure what ever someone does he'll poop on their party or piss on their parade.

i like a good scrumpy cider, one of my favorites and is normally much higher percentages then beer so it gets the job done

 

Just let the guy be iamlegend maybe it's just a phase he's going through. Quite frankly I want to talk like Yoda on here but still the hang of Yoda's speak I can not get right

Anyway, Red wine is good for your heart if you take small amounts of it each day, I personally don't like drinking heavy alcohol but cocktail drinks I can handle.
