music sites?

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by codemeister1990, May 12, 2008.

  1. we all know romulation is illegal and its for roms/isos, but what about music, are there sites for those? (this excludes file sharing software such as limewire, kazaa, napster, etc.) or sites for other things such as tv shows, movies, etc. (I already know some, but some people may not)
downloading directly from a secure/trusted site is much safer than downloading from a torrent or a file sharing program.
    here, I'll start

    romulation.net = console gaming
    www.free-tv-video-online.info/internet/movies = movies

there are not as many illegal music sites as there was, as the RIAA keep going after them (even if legally they have no right to, such as in the case of sites hosted outside of the US)

  3. this I know, they have no jurisdiction in countries that do not abide by the same laws

in theory, it didn't stop them going after several russian sites though.

your best bet is to find rapidshare or similar links to what you want. I used a site called easymp3s for a while which had direct downloads to the latest music but they got nuked so I just stick to SCENE releases now.

If you want to download massive amounts of music, install Utorrent, then go to www.mininova.org and search for full discographies. That's how pros do! :p

    However, dilandau is awesome.

Yes torrents are the way to go, and the only way i usually get music besides actually goin to buy it, i get just about everything from torrents. For example im learning japanese and i need a dictionary, and it just so happened that btjunkie.org (the greatest torrent site) happened to have a japanese english dictionary pdf, along with a bunch of programs. so yea you can get pretty much anything from torrents. I must say though its not worth downloading a torrent of a rom or iso if you can just direct download it from this wonderful site.

  17. game OST's?

I just google search an album and add rapidshare or megaupload to the end of it and i come up with a result.
Occassionally i'll torrent things, movies etc or hard to come buy albums and soundtracks.

even though i shouldnt say this, the best way to finds music is like this

go on google and type in:
*Name of Artist* - *Name of Song/ Album* free mp3

    examples:
    CloudBoii12 - Song of Cloud free mp3

Linkin Park - Given up free mp3

    Rihanna - Umbrella free mp3

    its simple :)
